I noticed that sometimes when I'm viewing 'Currently Active YESFANS' that some users will be, for example, listed as 'Viewing Thread XYZ' but others are listed as Viewing Thread (with no mention of what thread). Also, some members are listed as 'Private Messaging [User name] and others as Private Messaging (with no name mentioned). is there a rhyme or reason to this or is it just a site quirk?

Mine does that sometimes,then i go back later and find it actually has uploaded.

If no mention of the thread name is indicated, it means that they're viewing a thread that you don't have permission to view, e.g., a thread in modspace or one that you've asked to be made invisible to you.
Private messaging might work the same way; not sure.

That makes a lot of sense. I have no forums or persons on ignore so I'll see if this is limited to mod/admins.

Hmmm. I've gotten it when just out of curiousity I tried to view a profile in chat. I imagine that's simply not supported. But trying to load an avatar...maybe the file type or suffix isn't supported by Apache or vBulletin or Front Page 5.0.2.2635. (?)

Q. How do I set up my account so I do not become 'subscribed' to every one of the threads I respond to?

I get multiple e-mails from yfs if I do not go into my user control and delete them before logging off*....which for some reason, is NOT letting me do so today.(3-13-10)

*All I am getting when trying to delete them today is an instant warning/error page which is leading me right back to the yfs greetings page.

Frustrating.

Is there a place to find a list of the posts I've made. I keep clicking on Profile, Quick Links or New Posts in that order but I see no place that lists my posts.

So far I've discovered that search the boards for my username works, but if I haven't visited in a while I usually try the procedure I mentioned above. I would think I could find the threads I've started and posts to threads I've replied to separately.

Click on your screen name on the board. From there go to 'Find more posts by....'.

There are different ways of doing it but you could try clicking on "Profile", then on "Your Profile" ( top left side) and then on the "Statistics" tab.
