Great Mid-Atlantic shows I know you'll like

Been quite busy lately... meant to post a blurb about The Steve Morse Band a couple weeks back! Didn't realize that the Rams Head show was the 1st of the tour. Steve, Dave & Van were all in great form, playing many of my favorites from the Dregs & earlier SMB albums, plus about half of their new album: Out Standing In Their Field (you can imagine the what the back cover looks like!) My seat was at the edge of the stage right in front of Dave LaRue - amazing display of bass musicianship & musicality! Steve looks & sounds great, amusing & affable as always.

The new album isn't due out until mid-Nov, but they had advance copies available for sale. Plenty of folks queued-up for a meet-and-greet with Steve after the show. While in line, Dave LaRue walked by - a couple of us had a nice chat, shook his hand (hope some of that amazing bass technique wore off on me) and signed our CDs. Steve was just as gracious, also posed for a photo with me.
